Joe Giglio: This run of Eagles success as good as any in franchise history

The Eagles enjoyed one of their best regular season wins in recent memory on Monday night, taking down the defending Super Bowl champs in their own backyard with a 21-17 victory over the Chiefs.

Joe Giglio says it is another landmark in what be one of the best runs of success in the history of Eagles football.

"We are witnessing a hell of a run of Eagles football," Joe said. "This is up there with any stretch of games ever. You think about the last two and a half years of Eagles football…we can take it back to when they lost to the Raiders in Sirianni's first year…since then, this team just wins basically every single week."

Of course, it would be hard to top winning the Super Bowl over Tom Brady and the Patriots in 2017, but that was followed by a mediocre 9-7 campaign. This year, the Eagles are following up a year in which they went 14-3 before reaching the Super Bowl, and are now 9-1 on the year after Monday's win.

What makes it even more impressive for Joe is the team's ability to still win games when they are clearly not playing at their best, so it could get even better from here.

"There have been four games this year where they haven't dominated, they lose the yardage battle, but other than the Jets, they find a way to win," Joe said. "They never seem defeated, even when they are losing."
