The Philadelphia Eagles closed out the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft by selecting Texas DB Andrew Mukuba with the No. 64 overall pick.
The pick was announced by Beau Allen, who spent four of his seven seasons in Philly and was part of the Super Bowl LII champions.
A four-year starter at safety, Mukuba spent three years at Clemson before transferring to Texas, where he was a Third Team All-SEC selection in 2024. He notched five INT (tied for fourth in FBS), 69 tackles, seven pass breakups, and a forced fumble.
Over his four years in college, he had 193 tackles, 6 INT, and 18 pass breakups, and he was a Freshman All-American, ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Third-Team All-ACC in his first year at Clemson.
