Sports Medicine Physician on Eagles' Week 6 injuries
Dr. Richard Francesco, DO is with Core Family and Sports Medicine in Glen Mills, PA. He joined the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday to discuss the Eagles' injuries from their Week 6 win over the Browns, specifically a hamstring injury to offensive lineman Jordan Mailata.
Dr. Francesco is a primary care sports medicine physician and is board-certified to practice both family medicine and sports medicine.
Dr. Francesco specializes in the treatment of sports related injuries including concussion management.
Dr. Francesco has worked as a team physician for multiple academic centers including Lindsey Wilson College, Siena College and The University of Albany.
Dr. Francesco did his undergraduate work at Saint Joseph's University, followed by graduate and medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
