After losing in blowout fashion to a fellow NFC contender once again, Joe Giglio is raising some serious questions about Nick Sirianni’s ceiling as a head coach in the NFL.
“The Eagles are not a well-coached football team right now, and it starts with Nick Sirianni,” Joe said. “Nick Sirianni in the last few years has created this thing where people think he is a great football coach. I don’t believe he is. I really never believed it. I don’t think he has any answer to the problems right now.”
Hugh was placing the bulk of the blame on the players for not executing, but Joe is putting the lopsided loss at the feet of Sirianni, who he says is not adjusting to the league catching up to him.
“This is his offense. He likes to remind us of that. He and Brian Johnson put it together,” Joe said. “It stinks right now. It is over reliant on talent…the better coach last night, by a lot, was Mike McCarthy.
“Mike McCarthy’s offense is more creative than Nick Sirianni’s offense, and I don’t think it’s close.”
