Well, we know who to blame if the Eagles lose now. Joe Giglio has guaranteed an Eagles victory on Christmas over the New York Giants.
"I understand how badly the Eagles have played," Giglio said on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "But this is the ultimate get right game. They get to come home. They play a team they've dominated for years now. They've owned this matchup for a long time. And this is the week the Tommy DeVito circus comes to an end.
"This Giants team stinks. Tommy DeVito has taken 35 sacks in five games. 35 sacks! It's a lot of sacks. They're 31st in yards per play. They're 32nd in passing yards per game. They average 13.5 points per game. They stink! This is one of the worst teams in the NFL. Hugh Douglas, I'm guaranteeing a victory on Monday for the Eagles."
The 10-4 Eagles have lost three straight games, but they've played incredibly difficult opponents over their last six games. Now, they return home as 13.5 point favorites against the 5-9 Giants on Christmas Day.
The Eagles will be wearing all black uniforms.
