Joe DeCamara believes it is "very likely" the Philadelphia Eagles will not retain pass rusher Haason Reddick and DeCamara says they would be making a mistake.

"I will remain steadfast in my belief that the Eagles should go really hard to prioritize keeping Haason Reddick here for a couple of years," DeCamara at the beginning of Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "I think he is their best defensive player.

"My instincts tell me the Eagles do not value him as much as they should."

On Monday night, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported the Eagles and Reddick agreed to push back his one million dollar roster bonus from March 15th to April 1st, buying the Eagles time to make a trade.

Just about five hours before Super Bowl LVIII began, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Reddick, the Eagles' top pass rusher, has received permission to seek a trade and "could land elsewhere."

On February 13th, Reddick clarified that he never asked for a trade.

“I would like to get an extension done here at home. At no point did I ever tell the organization I want to be traded," Reddick said via B/R Jordan Schultz. "This is home for me. I was born and raised here. Two of the most fun years playing football in my life came here. I’ve cherished being an Eagle.”

Reddick, 29, is entering the final year of his contract, a three-year, $45 million deal he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in March of 2022. He has no guaranteed money remaining on his current deal.

The Camden, NJ native had a career-high 16.0 sacks in 2022 and five forced fumbles, plus another 11.0 sacks in 2023. Reddick added 3.5 sacks in three playoff games during the Eagles' run to the Super Bowl last year.
