Jalen Hurts’ rushing touchdown was the fourth of the game for the Birds, Hurts’ 15th of the season (including postseason), and 39th of the season (including playoffs) for Philly – all records or firsts.

Over their first 19 games, the Niners had not allowed four rush touchdowns in a game, but gave up the quartet in less than three quarters.
The fourth, Hurts’ 15th, gives Jalen the most of any QB in NFL history in a single season/postseason.

And, with 39 on the ground, they now pass the 1927 Frankford Yellow Jackets – yes, Philly, that Frankford, and they played in a stadium between Frankford and Hawthorne Avenues in the Northeast – for the most rush TD in a single season.

That 1927 Frankford team went 6-9-3 in their sixth NFL season, one year removed from an NFL Championship. They would play just four more before suspending operations after the 1931 season, and two years later, the Eagles were born.
