It's only been three games, but Joe DeCamara has seen enough to declare Jalen Hurts is "not the guy" for the Eagles.

"I have seen enough to know that Jalen Hurts is not the guy," DeCamara said to begin Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show with Jon Ritchie. "He's not good enough. It is not something that we want to be the case, I know people want him to be good. It makes it all so much easier if Jalen Hurts can be believed in as the guy. I mean, think about it. You could actually have three first round picks in April and not have to think about the quarterback.

"Guys, let me tell you. I've seen enough to know Jalen Hurts is not the guy. He's not good enough. It's what it is. It really shouldn't be that much of a shock. I am surprised he's been this bad the last two games. There's a simplification of this offense that to me speaks volumes of what Hurts can't do. Nick Sirianni is putting this is a way that is so easy for the quarterback to digest, but what it does is, it makes it easy for the defense to digest. And so the opposing defenses just gobbles up the limited things the Eagles can do and they stop that, and then Jalen Hurts has no counter punch."

DeCamara believes the Eagles will have a new starting QB by next season.

"I've seen enough to know that Jalen Hurts will not be the quarterback for the Eagles next year. I know there will be some people out there that tell me it's too early and I would keep playing him, I mean keep finding out more. But I'm telling you I've seen enough to know that Jalen Hurts will not be the guy for the Eagles."

Through three games this season, Hurts has completed 64 of 97 passes (66.0%) for 780 yards, 5 TDs, 2 INTs and rushed for another 179 and 1 TD. The Eagles are 1-2.
