Ray Didinger was asked by Joe DeCamara if he has concern about Jalen Hurts as the Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback.
"Well, I would like to just sort of still the waters here and be able to say, 'Everything is OK. He's going through a rough patch here, but everything will be fine.' Because I don't really believe that," Didinger responded on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show. "I think there is genuine reason to be concerned here.
"It's never just the quarterback. A lot of what is happening with this team is happening on many fronts, but ultimately it does come back to him in many ways. And I'm just really kind of baffled with the way he's playing right now."
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts had a poor performance in Sunday's 33-16 ugly loss at the Bucs, culminating in his seventh turnover of the season (2nd most among all QBs) via a huge sack-fumble late in the third quarter ending Philadelphia's hopes of a come back.
Hurts has now committed at least one turnover in nine straight games dating back to last season and has three giveaways in four games in 2024.
