Jalen Hurts was ranked as the NFL's ninth best quarterback by Pro Football Focus.
"It was a roller coaster of a year for Hurts, who set career highs in passing yards, touchdowns and big-time throws, but also career highs in interceptions and lost fumbles," PFF's Trevor Sikkema wrote.
Sikkema acknowledged Hurts battled through a knee injury for the majority of 2023 and says he "remains a constant threat" as a dual quarterback entering 2024.
Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, and Aaron Rodgers were ranked ahead of Hurts in that order (1-8).
C.J. Stroud was ranked 10th, and was in "Tier 3" with Herbert, Prescott, Stafford, and Hurts.
