Jon Ritchie believes the Dallas Cowboys are "frontrunners," a team that needs to play with the lead to be successful.
"They are a really, really exciting team this Dallas Cowboys team," Ritchie admitted on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara, "But I think they're frontrunners. And we know from experience, that's the way they roll. They jumped out to a massive lead last week against the Rams and that's the way they like to play. I can't wait to see the way they play when we just punch them right in the mouth.
"In their two losses, Week 3 and Week 3, they gave up 196 yards on the ground. They averaged 196 yards on the ground [allowed per game], 5.5 yards per carry. I think this defense is so gettable if we leave the runs on."
"I want to pound the football in these Cowboys' faces," the former Eagles fullback said.
To Ritchie's point, while Dallas is third in the NFL in total yards allowed per game (287.4), they are just 17th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game (108.9).
The 7-1 Eagles are currently three-point favorites at home on Sunday against the 5-2 Cowboys.
