Jon Ritchie: I am back to trusting Howie unconditionally

Jon Ritchie, who has been critical of Howie Roseman, praised the Eagles' general manager on Thursday one day after his signing of Pro Bowl corner James Bradberry.

"I am not ashamed to say that I am back into I trust Howie Roseman unconditionally because of his track record now," Ritchie said. "Look, I think he's on a great path. Of course, I am going to judge every move that he makes. Doesn't it feel like every move that he's made now, I don't know feels like a good year, it's right in line with what we're hoping for. And so, I can't question that. His vision is very similar to ours as fans. He's taking great steps forward, making this team better where it needs help."

Ritchie also believes that Bradberry, who agreed to a one-year deal worth a maximum of $10 million with Philadelphia, chose the Eagles for a chance to compete for a Super Bowl.

"He gets to go where he wants to go," Ritchie said of the former free-agent corner. "We didn't break the bank. We gave him a $7.5 million contract with $2.5 million in incentives, it's a one year deal. He didn't come here for the money. I believe he came here and he looks at our roster and says, 'Wow they've got a chance.'"

Howard Eskin also joined the show and predicted the Eagles to win the NFC East.

"They're a good team," Eskin said when asked how good are the 2022 Eagles. "Can they go to the Super Bowl? That's the big question. I think they're a 10 win. I think they win the division, and then after that the playoffs—like it is in every sport, the playoffs are so difficult."
