Myles Garrett on possibly joining Eagles: 'Hell of a destination'
Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett was welcomed properly by Ike Reese, Spike Eskin and Jack Fritz at Radio Row on Wednesday, as they yelled "future Eagle" at him.
Moments later, after beelining away from the 94WIP Afternoon Show booth at Super Bowl LIX, Garrett—who recently requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns—spoke with Zach Gelb.
"I'm not going to stay too attached to one team," Garrett said when asked about the Eagles, specifically. "I know my fate isn't really in my hands, but it would be a hell of a destination."
Garrett says Eagles fans "have been out in full force" recruiting him to Philadelphia.
Garrett, 29, is a six-time Pro Bowler, four-time first-team All-Pro, and the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and has 102.5 sacks in eight seasons (seven straight double-digit sack seasons) with the Browns, including 14.0 in 2024.
Garrett has just two seasons left on his contract.
