Howie Roseman has quickly become the NFL's media darling executive, and for good reason, as Roseman has just put together another marvelous draft.
According to the NFL Network's Peter Schrager (via Brandon Lee Gowton), some executives around the league are getting annoyed with all of the praise Roseman is receiving.
Roseman was moving up and down the draft board all weekend. In the first round, he moved up one slot to get Georgia DT Jalen Carter at No. 9 overall and was still able to land Georgia edge rusher Nolan Smith at No. 30 overall, someone who many thought the Eagles would take at their original 10th overall slot.
Then, Roseman snagged Alabama OL Tyler Steen, S Sydney Brown, and CB Keele Ringo in the mid rounds, QB Tanner McKee in round six and DT Moro Ojomo in the final round.
The kicker was when Roseman was able to acquire former St. Joe's Prep standout and Philadelphia native RB DeAndre Swift from the Detroit Lions for, essentially, a 2025 fourth-round pick.
Roseman has now acquired offensive weapons A.J. Brown and Swift in cheap trades around the draft in back to back years.
