Sirianni not worried about Hurts and Brown, sees more '22 vibes than '23 from Eagles

Nick Sirianni does not believe A.J. Brown was taking a shot at Jalen Hurts after Sunday's win when saying Eagles need to improve their "passing."

"I didn't take it that way," Sirianni told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "You can do anything and spin it anyway. I took it as we want to get better as a passing attack. A.J. is part of the passing attack. And so, we all want to be better at it...Jalen and A.J. are both really outstanding people and both really outstanding players and I love that our players are wanting to get better, desire to get better, and that's what we talk about all of the time."

On Monday night's 94WIP Brandon Graham Show, the Eagles' veteran made some viral comments about the relationship between Hurts and Brown saying, "They were friends before this, but things have changed. I understand that because life happens."

Sirianni isn't worried about an unraveling similar to last year.

"Let's be honest, you guys don't have all of the information," Sirianni said on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "All I can judge things on is what I see on a daily basis. When I see A.J. and Jalen communicating about the game plan, eating lunch together every single day, praying with each other before the game. There's going to be speculation and I get it, rightfully so based on what has happened the last couple of days. But all you can do is judge what you see.

"If you want to go back to last year, I felt like there wasn't joy sometimes after wins. So one thing we talk about is just being able to celebrate together and how important that is. What we do is, every Monday after the game we show our celebrations together after big plays and kind of a montage of that. I see so much joy from this team.

"Based off of what happened the last couple of days, 'Oh man there's a little 2023 vibes.' I see a lot of 2022 vibes...I just see joy...You can look at what you see in one week, but I'm looking at the big picture and again, I see it as everybody wants to get better...I can only judge them based off of the things I see on a daily basis."
