The Eagles are 2-0, but if you listen to Eagles fans it does not sound like it. Head coach Nick Sirianni gets it, though.
"[Eagles VP of communications Bob Lange] has prepped me for this," Siranni told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday. "It's OK and our standard is high and I know the city's standard is high. So let's go, let's get better."
While the Eagles are 2-0, they have won two ugly-ish games beating the Patriots and Vikings but just a combined 11 points.
To compound the worries, the Eagles have lost cornerback Avonte Maddox for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Also, the top NFC teams San Francisco and Dallas are 2-0 as well, but have won their games in much more dominant fashion.
The Eagles will look to remain undefeated in Week 3 when they head to Tampa Bay to face a 2-0 Baker Mayfield-led Bucs team on Monday Night Football.
