Who is a better head coach: Eagles coach Nick Sirianni or Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy? Joe Giglio is taking McCarthy.
"McCarthy is a better coach right now than Sirianni," Giglio said on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "If you had to win a game tomorrow, who is your coach? I'm not saying swap them in a trade, I just meant like if you had line up, you had to pick 11 people to go play a football game tomorrow, who is your coach Sirianni or McCarthy? Yeah, I'll take Mike."
Sirianni, in his first three seasons as an NFL head coach, is 34-17 in the regular and 2-3 in the postseason. This season, however, his team collapsed losing six of their final seven games and putting his job in jeopardy.
McCarthy, who is 18 years older than Sirianni, was retained by Dallas. He was the head coach of the Packers from 2006-2018 leading them to a Super Bowl victory in 2011, before taking over as Cowboys head coach in 2020. With Dallas, McCarthy is 42-25 in the regular season and just 1-3 in the postseason, but has won 12 games in three straight seasons.
