Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni says he is still considering benching at least some of the starters in Week 18 at the Giants.

"Obviously, still thinking through those different things...Those conversations have yet to be had," Sirianni told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show when asked about the possibility of resting the starters on Sunday.

However, Sirianni did admit it is "important that we play a good football game and it is important that we get out of the rut that we're in. So, again, all things are always considered. We're going to always look through everything."

The Eagles have shockingly lost four of their last five games, free falling to 11-5 and will lose the NFC East title if the Dallas Cowboys win at the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Both the Eagles and Cowboys play at 4:25 p.m. E.T.

A Dallas win would lock Philadelphia into the No. 5 seed for the NFC Playoffs and would mean a likely NFC Wildcard matchup at the Tampa Bay Bucs, assuming the Bucs can get a win on Sunday at the 2-14 Carolina Panthers. A Bucs loss would open the door for the New Orleans Saints or Atlanta Falcons to possibly win the NFC South and host the Eagles in a Wildcard game.
