Sirianni on defensive struggles: 'Never going to point a finger at anybody'

Jonathan Gannon is not a popular man in Philadelphia right now following the Eagles 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers -- but speaking Monday morning on 94WIP, head coach Nick Sirianni refused to join in on ripping his defensive coordinator

"First of all, I'm the head coach of this team," Sirianni said on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show. "Why I say that is, it's my offense, it's my defense, and it's my Special Teams. And so, I'm never going to blame, point a finger at anybody. Do we have to get better on all sides of the ball? Yeah, we have to continue to get better. The defense has to get better, the offense has—we all have to get better. I'm not here to point fingers, I'm here to find solutions. We have to continue to evolve on defense and find out what works for us."

In the latest episode of the Go Birds! Pod, James Seltzer and Eliot Shorr-Parks debate Gannon's performance in the Eagles' loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Does Gannon deserve most of the blame -- and should he be coaching for his job the rest of the season?

Plus, some discussion about how much blame Jalen Hurts has in this loss, and whether the defensive issues are personnel based.
