Nick Sirianni was asked by Joe DeCamara if he is worried about his future as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
"No, I don't think about those things," Sirianni said on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "I try to stay where we are right now."
The Eagles have shockingly lost four of their last five games, free falling to 11-5 and will lose the NFC East crown with a Dallas Cowboys win at the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Is Sirianni shocked?
"Shocked? No. I don't think that way," Sirianni said. "I think about where we are and how we're going to get out of this rut. I am trying to be exactly right where I am right now. How do we get this team and coaches playing and coaching to the best of our ability, myself included and how are we going to beat the New York Giants...I'm thinking right where we are right now."
Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown continues to avoid speaking to the media, another hot topic for Sirianni, who says he has spoken to Brown in the last 48 hours.
"I'm going to keep my conversations with A.J. private because that's what you do with the coach, player relationship," Sirianni said. "We're all frustrated right now."
Sirianni, 42, is in his third season as head coach of the Eagles. After a 9-8 campaign in 2021, Sirianni and the Eagles went 14-3 last year en route to an NFC Title and a Super Bowl appearance.
