Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni says he will not mention the possibility of the NFC number one seed to his team at all.
"Not even a little bit," Sirianni told Jon Ritchie and Joe DeCamara when asked if he will mention the one seed to his team on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show.
"Our sole focus is control what we can control. That's not to say fans and you guys shouldn't talk about it...but our focus is what can we control."
Sirianni's Eagles have won 10 straight games for the first time in franchise history, putting them at 12-2 tied for first in the NFC with the 12-2 Lions and 12-2 Vikings with three games to play.
After head-to-head, the next two NFL tiebreakers are division and then conference winning percentage.
The Lions and Eagles are both undefeated in division play, while the Vikings have one division loss. The Lions are 8-1 in the conference, while the Eagles and Vikings are both 7-2.
Here are all three teams' final three games:
PHI: @ WAS, vs DAL, vs NYG
DET: @ CHI, @ SF, vs MIN
MIN: @ SEA, vs GB, @ DET
That final game between the Vikings and Lions looms large. If Detroit wins out, they will get the No. 1 seed.
