Nick Sirianni not worried about Jalen Hurts being rusty

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni says he is not worried at all about his starting quarterback Jalen Hurts being rusty in Sunday's NFC Wildcard playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

"We've got so much faith in him and the things that he can do," Sirianni said of Hurts on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie. "This is why you practice the way we practice. Practice is very high intensity. Just being locked in and focused all week. Got a lot of faith in Jalen."

Hurts suffered in concussion on December 22nd early in the game against the Commanders after throwing just four passes. Hurts has not played since and still has technically not cleared concussion protocol.

However, the Eagles were unmotivated to push Hurts as they rested starters last week in a meaningless Week 18 game with the NFC's No. 2 seed already locked up.
