Ritchie: 'I would be disappointed if Eagles do not win Super Bowl'

Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie debated on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show about the expectations surrounding the 2023 Philadelphia Eagles and if anything short of a Super Bowl victory would be disappointing.

"Barring injury it'll be a shock if they don't have a very good or great season, or beyond great season," DeCamara said. "Is it disappointing season if the Eagles do not win a championship this year?"

Jon Ritchie says yes.

"If this team, the team I believe is the best team in the NFC, does not win the Super Bowl after going to and coming up just this short last year in the Super Bowl yes I'll be disappointed," Ritchie said. "No, I am not ashamed to say that."

DeCamara disagreed to an extent.

"I personally believe that is an unfair standard for let's say fans to hold a team to. It really strikes at fair, from a fan perspective, of the standard that you can reasonably hold a team to," DeCamara said. "If the Eagles don't, at the very least, get to the NFC Championship game, then yes. That to me would be a surprise and a disappointing season. But if they get to a conference title. My God, if they get back to a Super Bowl and happened to lose that Super Bowl."

The Eagles are favorites in the NFC and the second favorites to win the Super Bowl behind the Kansas City Chiefs.
