Joe Giglio is putting the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of Philadelphia Eagles MVP finalist Jalen Hurts to go out and win Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
"These two are so evenly matched," Giglio said of the Eagles and 49ers. "The spread is two, two and a half points. It's a razor thin margin between these two teams. There's one clear place the Eagles should have the advantage...there's no questions the advantage the Eagles should have at one position and that is quarterback.
"I'm putting this on Jalen Hurts. This game is on Jalen Hurts. We know what kind of year he's had. I'm a big fan of Jalen Hurts, the whole city has become a big fan of Jalen Hurts. But this one now is on him. I'm putting this game on Jalen Hurts.
"The Eagles and Niners are even, except the quarterbacks. And I believe this, if Jalen Hurts plays like he has all year—which has been outstanding—the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl...If Jalen Hurts plays less than that, the Eagles will lose this game."
