Brandon Graham on Nolan Smith: 'I'm so proud of him'
Philadelphia Eagles veteran defensive end and leader Brandon Graham spoke about the turnaround and emergence of second-year pass rusher Nolan Smith.
"That boy has just been working and taking all the jabs," Graham said during his weekly in-studio Tuesday morning appearance on the 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie. "He been taking a bunch of punches from coaching, the media...Nolan just stayed focused and stayed away from listening [to the noise].
"He's doing something and he ain't even scratched the surface yet! I'm so proud of him. I'm so proud of the whole defensive line. It takes all of us."
Smith was excellent in the Eagles' playoff win over the Packers on Sunday recording 8 total tackles, 2 TFL, 2 QB hits and 2.0 sacks.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni gave Smith the game ball saying, "I love this f---ing guy!"
