Ray Didinger most impressed by Eagles' defense

Ray Didinger is most impressed with the Philadelphia Eagles' defense, following their 34-6 blowout win at the Cowboys on Sunday.

"The defense, the defense," the Hall Of Famer told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie when asked what impressed him most on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show.

"I know the Cowboys aren't very good...It's now been over a period of weeks now, that the defense has been playing this good. The last five games they're giving up an average of 10 points a game. They're giving up just barely over 200 yards. Last three games they've had 10 takeaways. They're playing so fast, they're playing so physical. They're swarming around the ball. They're tackling so well.

"Vic Fangio has really tightened that defense up and they're playing really well right now. It will be interesting to see what they do on Thursday when they play a much better team and a much better offense with more playmakers and a dynamic young quarterback [in Jayden Daniels and the Commanders]."

The Eagles are now allowing just 274.1 yards per game this season, second best in the NFL. They have 25.0 sacks (13th), QB rating allowed of just 78.6 (4th), 6.1 yards per pass attempt allowed (1st), and eight touchdowns allowed (t-3rd).
