Nakobe Dean: 'I don't care what nobody say, I'm out here working'
Nakobe Dean has a new perspective after recovering from a grueling Lisfranc injury last season.
"I'm extremely better and I wasn't bad last year, I just got hurt," the third-year Philadelphia Eagles linebacker told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show live from training camp.
"It was a long offseason, it was grueling of course with my injury. I just don't mean football. I mean as a person...I don't care what nobody got to say about me. I'm out here working."
Dean, who turns 24 in December, was the Eagles' third-round (No. 83) overall out of Georgia in 2022. Dean played all 17 games as a rookie and entered last season as a starter, but his campaign was derailed due to his aforementioned foot injury playing in just five games.
