New Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Sean Desai sat down with the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday and was asked about his coaching style, as the city and team is trying to become familiar with the new coach.
"I think there is a big art to coaching and to say, hey just this way works or just that way works, I don't think is incorrect," Desai told Joe DeCamara. "You have to adapt your style to the players that you've got. Each player responds to different things, whether it is the harshest criticism—which some of our guys respond to well. To other guys don't, whether it's yelling at somebody at public in practice or talking to them privately and still holding them accountable. The main thing that will never change is guys got to be held accountable to a certain standard and that will never change for great teams. And the standard has been set for the Philadelphia Eagles for a long time."

Desai takes over a unit the led the NFL in sacks, finished second in yards allowed, and tied for third in takeaways.
However, the Eagles' defense did undergo some personnel changes losing important contributors like Javon Hargrave and C.J. Gardner-Johnson and will now likely rely on young players like second-year linebacker Nakobe Dean and DT Jordan Davis, plus rookies Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith.
