The Philadelphia Eagles have "inquired" about Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks, according to Jordan Schultz.

Schultz reports along with the Eagles, the Cowboys, Packers, Jets, and Saints have called regarding Cooks.
NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports the Texans are "unlikely to trade Cooks at this time," but if they were to trade him they'd be looking for a second-round pick.
Pairing Brandin Cooks with DeVonta Smith would certainly give the Eagles a dynamic one-two punch for Jalen Hurts, to go along with tight end Dallas Goedert in the passing game. The addition of Cooks would quickly upgrade the Eagles' passing unit as a whole.
The Eagles, especially after their trade with the Saints, have a boat load of draft capital over the next three years.
