Joe Giglio did not hold back on Philadelphia Eagles third-year head coach Nick Sirianni, who Giglio believes is getting a free pass.

"I have a question for everyone out there," Giglio said during the 11:00am hour of Monday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "You guys notice the discourse when they struggle verse when they win? When they win, we get phone calls saying, 'Nick Sirianni is the best coach in the NFL.' When they struggle...'I'm frustrated with the coordinators!' What does Nick Sirianni do around here? When they lose, he's not in charge?

"The last five games they've been losing at halftime, they're not ready to go when the game starts. It's obvious. He doesn't have his team composed because he's not composed. His in-game decisions are not great...What are we talking about here?

"You shouldn't be a source of focus for the other team...Sirianni gave them motivation. They called him a "fake tough guy" to the San Francisco Chronicle. And I got to watch Sirianni before the game poking them again on the field.

"I just don't understand this head coach, everyone loves him. What does he do? He doesn't have them ready to start the game this year, five straight games down at halftime. His in-game decision making is not very good, we've chronicled it all year. He has the best, or one of the best rosters in the NFL, and I feel like that's his big thing. I am so frustrated with Nick Sirianni and I have been even when they were winning."

Sirianni, 42, is 33-13 in his third season as the Eagles' head coach and 2-2 in the playoffs.

However, Giglio's points are valid, especially of late, as the Eagles continue to get off to slow starts. They have been outgained by 100-plus yards in each of the last five games and were absolutely blown out by the 49ers at home.
