Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was asked by 94WIP's Jon Ritchie if he's feeling the heat after three straight losses.

"Obviously I know what the standard or expectation is," Sirianni said on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show. "This is part of my job, and I understand it. There's going to be criticism when we lose. That's just the way it is. I don't feel heat with that. We've got to play to our standard and we've got to coach to our standard, and I'm the first one that needs to be looked at it and it's my job to make sure that we're doing it."

Sirianni, the third-year Eagles head coach, is 33-15 in the regular season and 2-2 in the playoffs, coming off a Super Bowl appearance in February.

The 42-year-old head coach talked about the importance of being connected, as the team tries to turn things around, something Sirianni says he is fully confident in.

"We're going through this losing streak right now, I think that's challenging," he said. "It is a challenging thing. And when you're going through challenges, it is really important than you are connected as a football team.

"Really when connection comes in the most, is when you're going through adversity. That you bond together, that you lock arms together and fight through adversity…You try to build these connecting points as much as you possibly can going into a season and throughout a season because it's granted. You're going to go through hard times.

"Teams go through tough times and that's why it's so important that you're connected because in these tough times, you can fight through them and be out there together and I do believe that this team has worked hard to be together."
