Giglio: Eagles should be favorites over Chiefs in Super Bowl
The Philadelphia Eagles are 1.5 point underdogs in Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs and Joe Giglio thinks the oddsmakers are wrong.
"I think it's wrong," Giglio said on Thursday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "The Eagles should be favorites in the game. Anything you look at they're better. None of this means they're going to win or lose, they have to play it out on the field next Sunday.
"I was looking at this. They allow less points per game, they score more points per game. They have more yards per game, they have less yards allowed. They have more yards per play, they allow less yards per play. In every single statistic—turnover margin per game, points, all of it. They are superior to the Kansas City Chiefs. Their resume says they should be favorite in the game. If I was the oddsmakers, I would have made the Eagles' favorites in the game. The Eagles have the better roster 1-53, they have the better resume on the season, they have the better outlook when you look all of their statistics—offense and defense—they are ranked higher in almost every single category, yet their the underdog."
