Report: Eagles players pushing free-agent CB L'Jarius Sneed to join Philadelphia

Three current Eagles are "pushing" free-agent cornerback L'Jarius Sneed to sign with Philadelphia, according to NFL Draft analyst Tony Pauline.

Boston Scott, Milton Williams, and pass catcher Griffin Herbert all played with Sneed at Louisiana Tech.

Williams reposted the story with the eyes emoji, essentially confirming the report.

Sneed posted a photo with an Eagle emoji on his Instagram account three days ago.

Sneed, 27, was a fourth round pick in 2020 of the Kansas City Chiefs and has won two Super Bowls in his first four NFL seasons, including one against the Eagles.

Sneed has 10 career interceptions, four forced fumbles and 6.5 sacks in 57 career NFL games over four seasons.

The Eagles' current starting cornerbacks James Bradberry and Darius Slay are both under contract for one more season, both with a base salary of $1.255 million.

Bradberry, 30, struggled mightily last season and with Slay at 33-years-old many believe cornerback is a position where the Eagles need to find some fresh, young, ascending talent.
