Nick Wright predicts Eagles finish 3rd in NFC East; Giglio calls it 'not crazy'
Joe Giglio says Nick Wright's prediction that the Philadelphia Eagles will finish third in the NFC East and miss the playoff is "not crazy."
"When I heard it, my first thought was I don't think this is going to happen," Giglio admitted on Tuesday's 94WIP Midday Show with Hugh Douglas. "But I don't think what Nick Wright said was crazy."
Giglio points out that the Eagles are currently 13-1 to win the Super Bowl and just +235 to miss the playoffs.
"Statistically, they are most likely to miss the playoffs than win the Super Bowl," said Giglio.
Wright explained his prediction of the Eagles finishing third in the division.
"They've lost six of the last seven games," Wright said. "They had a bottom four defense across the board in the NFL last season. They lost a future Hall Of Famer, the leader of their team, the best player on their offense. Their coach and quarterback don't get along."
