Eagles react to report claiming NFL blamed Super Bowl sliding on players' cleats

The NFL is reportedly blaming the slippery field on the players in Super Bowl LVII for not wearing the right cleats and the Eagles are not happy.

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham recently said the Chiefs' o-line was "blessed" by the slippery field, while former Eagle C.J. Gardner-Johnson tweeted that he changed his cleats three times.

Eagles cornerback Darius Slay tweeted, as well, but took a different angle.

The Eagles, of course, lost the Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs and were not able to record a single sack on Patrick Mahomes. During the regular season, Philadelphia recorded an NFL best 70.0 sacks, 15.0 more than the team (Chiefs) with the second most.
