Jon Ritchie is excited about a Philadelphia Eagles running back not named Saquon Barkley.
"Will Shipley, as a rookie, is in the huddle with the 1s," Ritchie, a former Eagles and Raiders fullback, said on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show live from Eagles Camp. "And I can tell you from experience having been the rookie that was in the huddle with the 1s, that means you are going to play.
"I love the Shipley to Danny Woodhead comparison."
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni compared Shipley to Woodhead earlier this week, saying the Eagles are really excited about Shipley.
Shipley, 21, was the Eagles' fourth round pick (No. 127 overall) out of Clemson, where he rushed for 2,748 yards and 31 touchdowns in three seasons to go along with 85 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns through the air.
Shipley, who is 5-11, 206-pounds, ran a 4.42 40-yard dash (88th-percentile).
