Does Howie Roseman need to overhaul the Philadelphia Eagles' roster this offseason? Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas debated this on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show.
"I think the Eagles need to make major changes to this roster," Giglio said. "I'll use two words, or one word however you want to write it down—wrecking ball. If I was Howie Roseman I would take a wrecking ball to the team. Nothing would be safe. Jalen Hurts is the only thing I'm like, 'Well yeah he's definitely going to be here.' And I don't mean I am looking to trade A.J. Brown, I'm not. I'm not looking to trade DeVonta Smith, I'm not. The Eagles have like six or seven players, I'd like to keep most of them, but I'm not beholden to any of them."
Former Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas, who says he does not feel like A.J. Brown, believes there needs to be some changes, like getting rid of some of the older players for younger talent.
"When you talk about taking a sledge hammer, I don't think that needs to be the case," Douglas said.
"They're going to have make some changes, bring in new people, jettison some older people," Peter King said on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show.
The Eagles are projected to have nine picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, including two second-round picks.
