The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have signed seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones, the team announced on Tuesday.
Jones, 34, played with Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown in Tennessee with the Titans in 2021 and gives the Eagles some depth at wide receiver in case one of Brown or DeVonta Smith got injured.
Jones last played in 2022 for the Tampa Bucs, playing just five games. The last time Jones played more than 10 games in a season was 2019 in Atlanta, when he caught 99 balls for 1,374 yards and six touchdowns.
"If you looked at the numbers without the name, I don't know if you'd say this was a great signing," Ike Reese said on Tuesday's 94WIP Marks & Reese Show.
Eliot Shorr-Parks was more excited about the signing, calling it a "great" move.
