Eagles Twitter (X) loves it, as Philadelphia drafts Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

It really happened. Somehow, some way Howie Roseman managed to select Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., son of all-time Eagles great Jeremiah Trotter, in the fifth round (No. 155 pick overall) in the NFL Draft on Saturday.

Trot Jr., who grew up in New Jersey and played for St. Joe's Prep, is 6'0", 230-pounds.

Trotter Jr. played three seasons for Clemson recording 113 tackles, 29.5 TFL, 13.0 sacks, 4 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 touchdowns.

"This is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned," 94WIP's and former teammate of Trotter Ike Reese said of the Eagles draft Trotter Jr. back in February. "This might be the easiest layup the Eagles have had in I don't know when...Don't pass him up and let him become a star somewhere else. That is much worse than him not panning out here."

Eagles X (formerly known as Twitter) loved it, of course. Here are some reaction from 94WIP hosts, Jeremiah Trotter himself and the Eagles.
