A positive Seth Joyner: 'Revel in Eagles being 4-2'
Seth Joyner is not the typical analyst you turn to for positivity, but that's exactly what the Eagles former linebacker gave the 94WIP Morning Show following Sunday's 28-3 blowout win over the Giants.
"There are 52 weeks in a year, we only get 17 to watch football," Joyner said on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie. "But we expect perfection out of our football team. They're 4-2. Yeah, they could be 5-1. They could be 3-3. But we've got to learn how to revel—and I'm not saying this just to stay on the positive side. You guys know me well enough to know, where criticism is due I'm going to lay it on. I'm going to take the butter knife and spread it on thick."
Despite the encouraging win on Sunday, Philadelphia has had an up and down season and some of the fans and media are concerning about the team's potential long-term issues.
In the win, Hurts completed just 10 of 14 passes for 114 yards, as Philadelphia primarily turned to their ground attack. The Eagles finished the game 1-13 on third down and were unable to record a takeaway once again. Philadelphia has just two takeaways on the year, which is worst in the NFL.
