Poll: Eagles fans strongly prefer Hurts over Watson

Deshaun Watson is undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the NFL, but with recent sexual misconduct allegations, Eagles fans prefer their team to stay away from the 25-year-old Texans quarterback.

According to a recent Twitter poll posted by 94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks, approximately three out of every four Eagles fans prefer current second-year QB Jalen Hurts to Watson.

As the NFL continues to investigate the pending lawsuit against Deshaun Watson alleging sexual misconduct with more than 12 Houston-area massage therapists, the Eagles continue to pop up as one of the likely teams Watson could resume his career with.

In fact, on Monday, Peter King listed the Eagles (3-1) as the co-favorites to land Watson.

"A likely need, plus Eagles are in perfect position to deal with three first-round picks (if Carson Wentz plays three-quarters of the Indy season)," King wrote in his latest Football Morning in America column for ProFootballTalk.com.

This week on the Rich Eisen Show, Rich Eisen said he believes Watson will be playing in the NFL this season.

"I don't think it's going to be 2022, how do you like that?" Eisen said via 247sports.com. "I think it's 2021. I think it's quiet for a reason. You don't hear a word for a lawyer who was on Instagram like he was a 16-year-old sophomore. On Instagram, every single thing was going on there. You don't hear a word from him right now, do you? Anyone who knows the legal system knows that something is being discussed and he doesn't want to (spoil) it."
