"This is next level hating and I love it," James Seltzer said to Ray Didinger after the 77-year-old retired Hall Of Famer explained why he's rooting for Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars in the NBA and NHL playoffs.
"I am rooting like crazy for the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Mavericks to win their respective championships," Didinger began on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show, as he was in-studio for over an-hour.
"Think about the Dallas metroplex," he continued. "The Texas Rangers are the current world champions of baseball. The Dallas Mavericks have a chance to become champions of the NBA. The Dallas Stars have a chance to win the Stanley Cup...The Dallas Cowboys will be the low man on the totem poll in the metroplex.
"Do you realize that Jerry Jones probably hasn't had a good night's sleep in like two months?
"They feel in their minds that they have owned the metroplex forever. And Jerry feels like he has owned all of the state of Texas since he bought the Cowboys. And now he's staring down a prospect where, for the foreseeable future, the Dallas Cowboys will be number four in their own city and I am so rooting for that to happen."
You got to love Ray Diddy.
