Report: Jordan Davis out 4-6 weeks with high ankle sprain

The Eagles dominating win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday came at a cost.

According to an NFL Network report, Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis suffered a high ankle sprain, an injury that usually takes around 4-6 weeks to recover from.

The Eagles have not yet confirmed the injury. Head coach Nick Sirianni will likely speak to the media on Monday and could provide an update then.

The injury is not just a blow to the team's depth at defensive tackle but also to Davis' rookie year. Missing so much time at his size will not be easy to come back from and also comes at a time when the rookie was starting to improve each week.
