As we still wait to hear news about a meeting between Nick Sirianni and the Eagles front office to decide the head coach's future, Joe DeCamara doesn't believe that the delay in the meeting happening means that Sirianni is likelier to stay in Philadelphia.
"The delay does not cause me to be convinced that he will be retained," Joe said.
Jon Ritchie was even more adamant that the meeting not happening yet doesn't mean that Sirianni is staying. Instead, it is just ownership doing its due diligence before pulling the trigger to move on.
"We have a smart organization, and they know," Ritchie said. "Common sense tells our smart organization that this change has to happen…just being cautious, just making sure this is the right decision. He has to comply with public perception to some degree.
"The players know how bad this season was. We have become a laughingstock because our protections are so dumb, our coaches can't coach offenses or keep our teams together…I don't have confidence that he's gonna convey something that makes them feel differently."
