Seltzer breaks down why he is coming around on Nick Sirianni staying with Eagles

Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie would like to see the Eagles move on from Nick Sirianni after the Eagles' miserable collapse was completed last weekend, but James Seltzer says he is coming back around to the idea that keeping Sirianni is the right move.

Hearing players start to vocalize their support for their head coach only enhances that belief.

"Jalen [Hurts] did, and Fletcher Cox did, and Jason Kelce did," Seltzer said. "All these guys are coming out with strong, vociferous defenses of Nick Sirianni. You're saying he lost the payers. According to the guys in the locker room, he didn't.

"I'm kind of coming back around the other way. The resume itself, winning seasons first three years…I know it fell apart at the end, but it's hard to fix things in season."

The Eagles had sky-high expectations heading into the season after reaching the Super Bowl last season, and especially after racing out to a 10-1 start. The season ended horribly, but Seltzer says perspective is important.

"Thirty one percent of teams that lose in the Super Bowl miss the playoffs the next year," Seltzer said. "This guy won the most games in the history of the Eagles in his first three years as head coach."
