Seth Joyner says he liked Jalen Hurt's "arrogance" and attitude following the Eagles' 27-13 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
"I like Jalen's arrogance because to a certain extent you have to be an arrogant player, especially when you're in his position to succeed in this city," Joyner told Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show.
After the win, Hurts took the podium and starting his press conference with, "So that's what y'all wanted to see, huh?"
"For his own sanity, he has to operate like that," Joyner said of Hurts. "Obviously, when you operate in that mood you better show up and show out each and every week."
After drama ensued between A.J. Brown and Hurts throughout the week, which the team largely quieted following Brandon Graham's comments on Monday's Brandon Graham Show, Hurts completed 25-32 passes for 290 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT and another 45 and a score on the ground.
Brown caught eight balls for 110 yards and a score and DeVonta Smith caught 11 for 109 and a score, quieting the Eagles' "passing game" critics.
