Steichen holds back tears thanking each Eagles' offensive player individually

Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen got emotional thanking each Eagles' offensive player individually during his introductory press conference as the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.

"Thank you to each and every single one of you guys," Steichen said. "I would not be sitting here today if it wasn't for you. It's all about the players and it will always be about the players. And I will be forever grateful for you guys and I wish you guys all the best going forward."

Steichen was announced on Tuesday morning as the Colts' new head coach and the press conference comes less than 48 hours after the Eagles lost Super Bowl LVII 38-35 to the Kansas City Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion.

Steichen, 37, spent the past two seasons as the Eagles' offensive coordinator, leading the team the NFL's 3rd best offense in terms of yards per game (389.1) and 3rd best offense in terms of points per game (28.1).
