Sports medicine physician on Dallas Goedert's shoulder injury

Dr. John Vasudevan, MD (pronounced VAH-sue-DAY-ven) is a Board-Certified Sports Medicine physician at Penn Medicine with locations in Philadelphia and Radnor, PA.

Dr. Vasudevan is the Director of Penn Medicine's Running and Endurance Sports Program and specializes in the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Vasudevan joined Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday to discuss the shoulder injury to Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert.

Dr. Vasudevan is Team Physician for Penn Athletics and Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor PA. He is also the Medical Director of the Philadelphia Distance Run half marathon and Co-Medical Director of the Broad Street Run.

On an interesting note Dr. Vasudevan was a drummer in a local band calling themselves the “Disgruntled Sherpa Project” from 2010-2020.
