Terrell Owens has never been shy about giving his opinions on anything – and this time, instead of flexing with sit-ups on his front lawn, he took to Twitter to talk smack about one of his former coaches.
It started when a Twitter account @49ersSportsTalk noted how the Niners stomped the Giants on Sunday despite missing, well, about half of their team.
T.O. then responded with a scathing rebuke of Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, who was Owens’ offensive coordinator for two of the three years he spent in Dallas.
The kicker? The 2007 Cowboys, the first of two teams for which Garrett was the O.C. and Owens was the WR1, went 13-3 and were the top seed in the NFC…only to get bounced by the Giants in the Divisional Round.
Owens has gone off on Garrett before - see/hear for yourself in the video above - but this one might sting a little more.
Garrett, of course, was named interim Cowboys head coach in 2010 and then became the full-time coach in 2011, going 85-67 at the helm and winning three NFC East titles but only two playoff games, and never reaching the NFC Championship Game.
