Jalen Hurts admitted after Sunday night's big Eagles win over the Miami Dolphins that he is dealing with a knee injury.
Hurts refused to go into detail on his injury, keeping things close to the vest. He did say he wore a knee brace and when asked if it will affect him going forward, Hurts said, "I hope not."
Here are my thoughts:
1. I don't think he looked injured while playing. I think this is really only being discussed because of the knee brace. Outside of that I think he looked/acted/played like normal.
2. I do think based off his comments he is definitely dealing with something more than just normal football soreness
3. I do think Mariota thought he might go in at the start of the 3Q, which means at halftime there was some concern
4. I don't think he was limping in the locker room. He didn't have ice on his knee or any kind of noticeable swelling. He was also acting normal
5. I do think it's like 70/75% he'll play vs. WSH
6. I do think whenever it's a knee thing there is always concern what any potential testing might show (if he requires testing)
